Jewish school firebomber sentenced to four years
Azim Ibragimov, 25, of Montreal pleaded guilty to firebombing a Jewish school in 2006, attempting to bomb a YM-YWHA in 2007, and uttering threats. The threats involved letters claiming that Islamic Jihad was behind the crimes.
A Montreal man accused of firebombing a Jewish school was sentenced to four years in prison for what a judge described as a terrorist act.
A second defendant arrested with Ibragimov and facing the same charges has chosen to go to trial.
