"A time is coming when men will go mad, and when they see someone who is not mad, they will attack him saying, 'You are mad, you are not like us'." --- St Antony of Egypt

Joseph Howe Symposium videos posted

by Scott Gilbreath ~ December 2nd, 2008

The Chumir Foundation has posted videos of the Joseph Howe Symposium held at University of King’s College, Halifax, on 1 November. They can be viewed at the foundation’s website and at YouTube.

The series of videos covers only each speaker’s prepared remarks. I have sent an e-mail asking whether there are plans to post videos of panel discussions and questions from the audience.

Here are the opening remarks from two speakers with diametrically opposed views on free speech in Canadian media.

My blog posts on the symposium can be viewed via this page.

UPDATE (3 Dec.): The Chumir Foundation is still working on the videos of panel discussions and audience questions, but there are sound quality issues because only the podium microphone was directly wired for recording.  It has not yet been decided if any clips are useable.
