Nick Kinsella, head of the UK Human Trafficking Centre (UKHTC), has been honoured with a Queen’s Medal.
Check out the unfortunate headline in the Sheffield Telegraph.
Queen’s Medal for human trafficking
THE head of the UK Human Trafficking Centre, based in Sheffield, is awarded the Queen’s Police Medal for services to policing.
Det Chief Supt Nick Kinsella is chief executive of the Europe’s first dedicated unit for victims of people trafficking, mainly women brought in from abroad and forced into prostitution. It is run by the Association of Chief Police Officers.
He described the award as “a great honour”.
The former teacher has nearly 29 years’ policing experience, mainly in CID.
Kudos to Det Chief Supt Kinsella, and keep on putting away those bad guys.
The Guardian reported on the work of the UKHTC in July.
